Picfari Takes On Travel Photo Opps
Picfari, another, new mobile travel photo application debuted today, saying that it is looking to help travelers find the best places to take photos at popular travel destinations. According to the Newport Beach startup, founded by couple Scott and Jackie Herr, the new, free mobile app helps photographers of all abilities take well-composed, memorable snapshots. The service looks to be similar to venture backed Crash, another mobile app which helps travelers to find travel photo locations.
Picfari said its site offers up more than 15,000 photos of landmarks and sites, in 350 tourist spots around the globe; the application also wants to help travelers per-plan their visits and find photo locations.
