    QLogic Gets Veritas Certification

Aliso Viejo-based QLogic, a designer of products for the storage area networking market, said today that its QLogic SANbox 6140 intelligent storage router has received qualification from Vertias NetBackup, a leading backup software package. QLogic said that its product extends the reach of the Veritas solution. QLogic's intelligent storage router is used to send data from remote offices to data centers, and to connect independent storage area network islands. Veritas NetBackup is widely used by enterprises to back up their data to tape.
