Qualcomm Acquiring Auto Chip Maker Autotalks

San Diego-based Qualcomm is buying an Israeli maker of automotive semiconductors, the company announced this morning. Qualcomm says it will buy Autotalks Ltd, which is based in Israel. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Autotalks' semiconductors are used for systems which prevent vehicle crashes.
