    Qualcomm Sues Broadcom, Again


    San Diego-based Qualcomm has filed another patent infringement suit against Broadcom, the firm is reporting today. Qualcomm said today that it has filed a complaint against Broadcom for trade secret misappropriation and patent infringement over development and marketing of WCDMA baseband integrated circuit products and the multimedia capabilities. Qualcomm said that it is seeking an injunction prohibiting Broadocm from continuing to use its intellectual property. The lawsuit is the third brought by Qualcomm against Broadcom to date, all of which are currently in progress. The patent in question for this lawsuit is 6,717,908.
