Regard Gets $15.3M For AI Medical Diagnosis

Los Angeles-based Regard, a company developing artificial intelligence software to help physicians with diagnosis of medical conditions, has raised $15.3M in its Series A funding roudn. The funding was led by Calibrate Ventures and Foundry Group, and also included existing investors TenOneTen Ventures and Susa Ventures, as well as new investors Brook Byers of Byers Capital and Drew Houston. The company said the new investment will go to grow its team. The company was previously known as HealthTensor. More information »
