Report: Virgin Orbit Looking To Raise $200M In Private Placement

Mojave-based Virgin Orbit, the space launch company which is affiliated with Sir Richard Branson, is in talk to raise $200M in a private placement, according to a report from Reuters. The news agency said that the funding will come from venture investor Matthew Brown, according to a leaked term sheet. Virgin Orbit laid off all of its employees and paused operations last week.
