Ross Levinsohn Out At Arena Group After AI Flap

Ross Levinsohn, the CEO of The Arena Group, was removed from the role, according to the company, on the heels over the use of artificial intelligence to generate content for Sports Illustrated. It's unclear if the move was related to the AI scandal. An expose by the publication Futurism at the end of November revealed that the company had created fake writers and AI-generated content across Sports Illustrated. Levinsohn is a well known figure in LA's technology and media circles, and has been involved in such local tech companies as ZEFR, Guggenheim Digital Media, Fuse Capital, and was President of Fox Interactive Media/News Corp., which owned MySpace and IGN.
