    SAIC Buys GSTI


    San Diego-based Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) has acquired GSTI(Geo-Spacial Technologies, Inc.), a Virginia firm providing research and development in the geospatial technology arena. Financial terms were not disclosed. GSTI provides LIDAR, IFSAR, digital camera, and other technology used in airborne, vehicle-based, and terrestrial sensors for mapping terrain and structures. The company's products are used in the defense and homeland security market. GSTI's 45 employees will become part of SAIC's Technology, Research, and Integration business unit.
