Santa Monica Man Pleads Guilty To Cryptocurrency Laundering

A Santa Monica man has plead guilty for helping scammers and drug traffickers launder millions of dollars. According to the Department of Justice, Charles Jamse Randol agreed to plead guilty to failing to maintain an effective anti-money laundering program at his company, Digital Coin Strategies LLC. Randol's business converted cash to Bitcoin, via a network of automated kiosks in Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside County; Randol also would meet anonymous customers in person to complete transactions, according to the DOJ.
