    Seagull Software Acquires Oak Grove Systems


    Calabasas-based Oak Grove Systems, a maker of business process management (BPM) software, has been acquired by Atlanta-based Seagull Software (SEAGULL). Seagull will add Oak Grove's BPM technology to its LegaSuite platform of software solutions. Oak Grove is a privately funded spinoff of the NASA JPL Laboratories. The company's software includes support for service oriented architecture (SOA) and integration of legacy applications. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to Oak Grove VP of Marketing Steven Katz, the management team and all employees will remain with Seagull Software.
