Section 32 Names New Team Member

San Diego-based venture capital investor Section 32 said today that it has added a new team member at its Los Altos location. The company said that it has added Carlos Solórzano, Ph.D., as Senior Principal at the firm. Solórzano was previously a Senior Associate for Pivotal bioVenture Partners, and also had served at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical, Deutsche Bank and Oppenheimer & Co. Section 32 was founded by Bill Maris, who was previously founder and CEO of Google Ventures.
