Snap Jumps On AI Chatbot Bandwagon

Venice, California-based Snap has jumped on the artificial intelligence chatbot bandwagon, saying on Monday that it has launched My AI, an OpenAI-based chatbot. According to Snap, the new AI is running the latest version of OpenAI's GPT technology, which it has customized for Snapchat. According to Snap, the new feature will initially be available as an experimental feature for Snapchat+ subscribers. According to Snap, the new AI can "can recommend birthday gift ideas for your BFF, plan a hiking trip for a long weekend, suggest a recipe for dinner, or even write a haiku about cheese for your cheddar-obsessed pal."
