Snap Names Interim CFO

Santa Monica-based Snap Inc., the parent company of Snapchat, said Monday afternoon that it has named Lara Sweet as its interim Chief Financial Officer and principal financial officer. Sweet is the company's current Chief Accounting Officer. Sweet replaces Snap's current CFO, Tim Stone, who is leaving on February 5th. According to Snap, it has initiated a search for a permanent Chief Financial Officer. Sweet has been at Snap since 2016, and also previously served as VP Controller; before that, she served at AOL, Freddie Mac, and Marriott International.
