Snapchat Rolls Out Real Time Location Sharing

Venice, California-based Snapchat announced this morning that it has launched a new real-time location sharing feature, which lets users share their location in real time with their friends. The company said the feature allows sharing of locations as a temporary "buddy system", is only available between mutual friends, and has a limited time span--ranging from 15 minutes to a few hours.
