SOCi Snags $120M For Marketing Software

San Diego-based SOCi, which develops marketing software for multi-location brands, said today that it has raised $120M in a funding round. The funding came from private equity investor JMI Equity, and also included Vertical Venture Partners (VVP), Blossom Street Ventures, and strategic investor Renew Group Private Limited, owner of 5-hour Energy International. The company says it is developing artificial intelligence (AI) products which incorporate ChatGPT to respond to online reviews.
