Songtradr Acquires Big Sync Music Ltd

Santa Monica-based Songtradr, which offers up an online music licensing platform, said on Tuesday that it has acquired Big Sync Music Ltd., a UK-based creative music licensing agency. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Songtradr said that Big Sync Music is headquartered in London, and also has teams in Singapore and New York, and has clients such as Dove, Knorr, Magnum and AXE to Johnnie Walker, Samsung, Amazon and Lipton. Songtradr said the acquisition was a "multi-million dollar" casn and equity transaction. Big Sync was backed by Unilever Ventures.
