Sonos Plans Launch Event October 4th

Santa Barbara-based Sonos appears to be gearing up for a big launch of a "smart speaker", and has started sending out invites to journalists to an October 4th launch event in New York City. Sonos, which has not detailed its plans yet for a voice enabled speaker, already accidentally revealed its plans in its privacy policy and in government filings.
