    Staccato Ships USB Development Kit


    San Diego-based Staccato Communications, which develops a single-chip, CMOS wireless USB semiconductors, announced a new development kit for the firm's products Monday. The firm said its new Ripcord1 Development Kit provides a software library and development library that will help accelerate native Wireless USB device designs for its customers. Staccato's Ripcord products provide CMOS, wireless USB capability for electronic products. Staccato is venture backed by Allegis Capital, Bay Partners, Charles River Ventures, Formative Ventures, interwest Partners, and Vision Capital.
