Starburst Lauches $1M In Prizes For Space Health Challenge

El Segundo-base aerospace accelerator Starburst, along with partners Boryung and Axiom said they have launched a new challenge, which will offer up $1M in total prizes to be split between 10 startups working on technology to "optimize human health for space travel and habitation" or are manufactured in space to advance healthcare here on Earth. According to the three companies, the new Care In Space Challenge will seek companies and technologies with the most promising technical solutions and potential for commercial viability. Axiom Space currently has its first batch of tourists at the International Space Station; Boryung is a Korean pharmaceuticals firm.
