Stickam Launches New Service

Los Angeles-based streaming media site announced today that it has rolled out a new service which allows its artists to create streaming media sites using their own domain names. Stickam said the service, a new level of its PayPerLive service, allows artists to create their own community powered by Stickam's back end technology. The company said the system allows artists to provide freemium, or subscription-only sites for fans. The company said it is targeting the new service to music artists. Pricing on the new offering was not released. Stickam said the first artist to use the new offering is thenewno2, an alternative rock band led by Dhani Harrison.
