    StoneFly Ships Encrypted SAN Product

San Diego-based StoneFly, a provider of IP storage area network hardware for the data storage market, said this week that it has shipped a SAN-based product which encrypts data. According to the firm, the new encryption option is part of its StoneFly Integrated Storage Concentrator line of products. The new encryption option allows users to encrypt volumes stored on StoneFly's storage products. StoneFly's Integrated Storage Concentrator product is aimed at small offices, remote sites, branch offices, and first time IP SAN deployments, and supports up to 24TB. StoneFly is a subsidiary of network storage provider Dynamic Network Factory.
