    Streamload Powers AMD Storage Service


    San Diego-based Streamload today said that it has been selected by Advanced Micro Devices to power AMD's new LIVE Media Vault Service. Streamload will power AMD's online services for remote access, sharing, and storage of digital media. AMD is rolling out the new AMD Live! services today, focused on providing free media applications to improve the multimedia experience on AMD, Athlon 64 X2 dual-core based PCs. AMD's new suite of branded products will allow users to connect their PCs and digital entertainment devices, and goes up against rival Intel's Viiv effort. Streamload is a provider of online file storage and vaulting services, used for backup and storage of multimedia and other files.
