TCA Awards Fast Pitch Winners
The Tech Coast Angels held their annual Fast Pitch contest last night in Westwood at the UCLA Anderson School of Business, awarding three winners for their ability to provide a 60-second "elevator" pitch to a panel of angels and venture capitalists. Winning the top spots for both their presentations and potential investment quality were Immunochemistry Technologies and RA Medical Systems, who tied in their scores. The award for the best overall presentation was given to Anasys. The TCA event included a keynote by Garage Technology Venture's Guy Kawasaki, and is held annually by the angel group to help promote entrepreneurship. The Tech Coast Angels is Southern California's biggest and most active early stage angel investing group, and among the largest angel groups in the nation.
