Teamsters Say Amazon Drivers, Dispatchers On Strike In Palmdale

Amazon delivery drivers and dispatchers appear to have gone on strike at an Amazon site in Palmdale, California, according to a local union. The International Brotherhood of Teamsters said they have walked out in an attempt to force Amazon to bargain over what it calls "unfair labor practices", in particularly "low pay and dangerous working conditions." The Teamsters said delivery drivers and dispatchers at Amazon's Delivery Service Partner (DSP), Battle-Tested Strategies (BTS), organized in April, but claims that Amazon has refused to recognize and honor the union contract.
