    TherMark Buys Laser Marking Technology
    Los Angeles-based TherMark Holdings, an angel-backed developer of laser marking technology, has purchased assets from Pittsburgh-based Advanced Identification. TherMark said that the purchase includes a customer database, existing product inventory, and personnel with process and laser marking knowledge. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Advanced Identification continues to operate selling a line of laser marking equipment, barcode/2D matrix scanners, and associated solutions. TherMark is backed by the Tech Coast Angels and Pasadena Angels, and is developing laser marking processes for marking hard surfaces such as metals, ceramics, and glass.
