Tinder Adds Blind Dates To App

In a move to allow people to match based more on personality and less on profile photos, Tinder said today that it will launched a new "blind date" feature on its app. The new feature--found within "Explore", will allow users to match to one another based on their answer to a number of icebreaker questions. The new feature changes the dynamic for Tinder, which has been heavily based on profile photos. Tinder said users of the feature made 40 percent more matches than another feature where profiles are visible.
