Total Immersion Ties With Adobe
Los Angeles-based Total Immersion, the developer of augmented reality technology, said today that it is in a strategic alliance with Adobe. According to the firm, the alliance will include technical collaboration and education focused on using Total Immersion's D-Fusion software along with Adobe Flash. Financial details of the strategic alliance were not disclosed. The companies said the relationship will help ensure that Flash will support development and playback of augmented reality based on Total Immersion's products. Total Immersion is headed by Bruno Uzzan, has has scored a number of high profile wins with entertainment and other firms, mostly around marketing. The firm has powered recent promotions from Nike, Olympus, Simon & Schuster, and others.
