Trovagene Finds $5.0M In Private Placement

San Diego-based Trovagene, a publicly held developer of oncology therapeutics, has raised $5.0M in a private placement, the company said last week. The company said the funding came from un-named institutional investors, and included both common stock and warrants. The company said the new funding will go towards clinical development activities and for working capital and general corporate purposes.
