TuSimple Axes US Staff, Leaves US Market

Autonomous trucking software developer TuSimple, which is based in San Diego, has laid off a huge chunk of its U.S. staff, and will be leaving the US market, the company said last week, and will look to possibly sell its U.S. operations and assets. According to the now-public company, it will "shift its focus to the Asia-Pacific region." The company said it will reduce the company's U.S. workforce by approximately 150 employees, or 75% of its workforce here.
