Los Angeles-based Twistbox Entertainment said Monday that it has raised an additional $19.5M in a funding round, from an affiliate of ValueAct Capital and other, unnamed strategic investors. Jimmy Price of ValueAct has joined the firm's board as part of the funding. The firm said that the capital will be used to launch new products. Twistbox is a developer of mobile entertainment titles, including WAP sites, mobile TV, and mobile games. Twistbox is headquartered in Sherman Oaks. More information »
