The Information Storage Industry Center (www.storagenetworking.org), a UCSD-based initiative to address data storage technology and education, announced it has formed an industry advisory board made up of members from IBM, EMC, Veritas, HP, as well as other members of the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA). The new non-profit organization will work on education of data storage technology users and create local user groups of IT professionals.
