    ValueClick Loses eBay Affiliate Deal

Westlake Village-based ValueClick has lost its affiliate marketing deal with eBay, according to an announcement by eBay this morning. According to online auction giant eBay, it will move to an in-house affiliate network from ValueClick's Commission Junction platform. The switch covers eBay and Half.com. eBay sites Tradera AB, ProStores, Reseller Marketplace, Media Marketplace, eBay Stores, and StubHub remain with Commission Junction. Financial impact of the switch was not announced. Commission Junction provides affiliate marketing services to online web sites; the firm's services are used by ecommerce providers to provide commissions and incentives to third party web sites to help drive sales on their online stores.
