Vasa Therapeutics Snags Seed Funding

Encinitas-based Vasa Therapeutics, a preclinical stage biopharmaceutical company developing therapies for cardiovascular aging, says it has raised $6M in a seed funding round. The funding was led by Orphinic Scientific SA, and also NuFund Venture Group, SeedFolio, and others. The company said the seed funding comes on top of $2.3M it has received in grant funding. Artur Plonowski is CEO and co-founder of Vasa.
