Vendare Rolls Out Local, Demographic Ad Targeting
El Segundo-based Vendare Media announced this week at the AD:TECH event that it is rolling out a new targeting solution for Internet advertisers. The company's InFocus solution allows advertisers to target users by local area, demographics, context, and behavior. The targeting, part of its advertising network, allows marketers to pinpoint the kinds of users they would like to reach. The new solution uses IP addresses and other data to target users by geography, page-level content matching, and a way to target users by behavior. The behavior matching uses usage patterns of users, including home page visits and tracking of abandoned purchases to profile buyers and Internet visitors and target them with specific advertising campaigns. Vendare provides an online advertising network as well as tools to manage online advertising campaigns.
