Viasat Backs Gender Equity Efforts

Carlsbad-based satellite communications provider Viasat says it is backing gender equity efforts through a partnership with five of its airline customers, Aeromexico, Azul, Delta Air Lines, Icelandair and Neos. According to Viasat, throughout the month of March, Viasat and each of the participating airlines will make content from UN Women available to passengers while in-flight for free, and also will offer up 15 minutes of free in-flight Wi-Fi from Viasat in exchange for watching a thirty-second streaming campaign video.
