Viasat To Sell Link Radio Business To L3Harris Technologies

Carlsbad-based Viasat announced this morning that it is selling its Link 16 Tactical Data Links (TDL) business to L3Harris Technologies, in a deal worth $1.96 billion. Viasat's Link 16 Tactical Data Link business provides a standard system for the US military and others to transmit and exchange real time data. According to Viasat, its Link 16 TDL business had approximately $400M in revenues and estimated $125M in Adjusted EBITDA for 12 months ended June 30, 2022.
