Virgin Orbit Plans UK Launch

Mojave, California-based rocket launch platform developer Virgin Orbit said today that it is preparing to make its very first launch from the United Kingdom. According to the company, it plans to launch satellites from a facility in Cornwall, UK, called "Spaceport Cornwall". Virgin Orbit says it has so far launched 33 satellites into space; the company on uses a platform based off a Boeing 747. The company--now publicly listed as VORB on the Nasdaq--was founded by Sir Richard Branson.
