Vizio Gets Attorney's Fees In Patent Suit

Irvine-based Vizio has racked up another win in its battle against a company which had filed a patent infringement lawsuit against the company, winning--along with Sharp Electronics--a combined $4.17 million in attorney's fees from Wi-Lan Inc.. According to reports, the attorney's fees were awarded as a result of Wi-Lan continuing its patent infringement case against Vizio and Sharp even after it became "clear it couldn't win."
