VMIX Partners With Tribune On User-Generated Content

San Diego-based VMIX Media said today that it is in a new agreement with Tribune Interactive to provide its technology for user-generated content management. VMIX said that it will provide the technology to the Tribune's properties, which includes online sites for the LA Times, Chicago Tribune, Newsday, and other newspaper web sites. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. VMIX Media said it will provide "white label" hosting, queuing, distribution, and management of user-generated content on the sites, encompassing video, photos, and audio.
