Lake Forest-based WD said today that it has released a new, one terabyte, portable hard drive for the Mac. WD said its new My Passport SE for Mac, USB drive supports either one terabyte or 750 gigabytes in capacity. The new portable drives are pre-formatted for the Mac platform, and start at $179.99. WD said it is targeting Mac users who need a traveler-friendly storage device for their rich media content.
