Wiliot Taps Former Amazon Exec As Product Head

San Diego-based Wiliot, a startup developing stamp-sized computers for the Internet-of-Thing market, said this week that it has tapped a former Amazon executive as its new Chief Product Officer. According to the company, Manish Bansal, who was most recently Amazon's Director and General Manager in Supply Chain Optimization Technology, has joined the company in the position. Bansal apparently had spent 15 years at Amazon. Williot says it is looking to create postage-stamp sized computers which are powered by harvesting energy from radio waves, attaching to products and packaging.
