Workpop Adds Twitter's Biz Stone To Board
Loss Angeles-based job marketplace and community Workpop has added Twitter co-founder Biz Stone to its board, according to the company. Stone was already an investor in the company, having invested in the company in 2014. Workpop says its board now includes co-founders Chris Ovitz and Reed Shaffner, along with Trinity Ventures' Dan Scholnick. Workpop, in the same announcement, also said it has launched its second city, in San Diego; the company also plans to expand in Texas later this year. Workpop's hiring tools are aimed at the service sector, and includes not only recruiting tools but onboarding, human resources, payroll, and other tools.
