Wpromote Gets Private Equity Investment

El Segundo-based Wpromote said this morning that it has received a private equity investment, from ZMC, to help it with growth and expand its technology and product offerings. Size of the investment was not announced. ZMC said the funding for Wpromote will go towards expansion both organically and via acquisition. Wpromote is a digital marketing agency, and was founded by CEO Mike Mothner.
