    XCOR Aerospace Gets Seed Funding


    Mojave, California-based XCOR Aerospace, a firm developing suborbital vehicles, said Thursday that it has received an investment from the Boston Harbor Angels. Amount of the funding was not disclosed. XCOR said that the funds will support development of its new suborbital vehicle. The investment is the company's first angel investment. Individual angels investing in the firm include Esther Dyson, Stephen Fleming, Aneel Pandey, Joe Pistritto and Lee Valentine. XCOR is developing reusable rocket engines, rocket propulsion systems, and rocket powered vehicles.
