Xirrus Looks For Trade-Ups
Westlake Village-based Xirrus said this week that it has begun offering a trade-up program for companies looking to upgrade their WLAN infrastructure. The developer of wireless LAN switches said that it would pay a rebate to customers who are migrating to Xirrus Wi-Fi architecture, offering $100 for every third party WLAN access point traded in as part of an upgrade. Xirrus offers a combined WLAN switch and integrated access point device that simplifies deployment of WLAN access and expands bandwidth for those users.
