Yardi Powers Site For Nova Scotia Wildfire Evacuees

Santa Barbara-based real estate software developer Yardi says it is powering a new, online housing registry aimed at helping evacuees from Nova Scotia wildfires find shelter. According to the company, a new feature in its rental listings portal, Point2, allows users to use the filter 'NS Wildfire Relief Rentals' to find temporary shelter from the wildfires. Canada is facing an early, massive wildfire season, with more than 3.3 million hectares of land impacted, and according to Yardi, displacing over 120,000 people.
