YouMail: 4.4 Billion Robocalls In September

Irvine-based voicemail software and services developer YouMail says its tracking of calls find that there was a record 4.4 billion robocalls made in September, which it says is up 83.9 percent over September one year ago. Youmail says the number of robocalls is the highest number of monthly robocalls recorded since it launched its YouMail Robocall index in 2015. YouMail develops voicemail and robocall blocking product for mobile phones, which can be used in place of most standard voice mail provided by various mobile providers.
