Zadara Links With Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN F1 Team

Irvine-based cloud storage services provider Zadara, which develops equipment and offers up "edge cloud" services to companies seeking a turnkey way to tap into cloud storage through on-premise hardware, says it has teamed with the Alfa Romeo Racing ORLEN Team. Zadara said it is now the "official cloud supplier" for the Formula One team. Details on the sponsorship and relationship were not announced. Zadara says its systems will be used to as part of Alfa Romeo Racing's management of hundreds of gigabytes of data produced by each car during race weekend, for trackside decisions and use back at headquarters. Zadara is led by CEO Nelson Nahum.
