Angels Launch New Early Stage Fund

Three Tech Coast Angels members--Ben Barak, Andrea Sloan Pink and John Kensey--have started a new venture fund focused on early stage investments. Seraphim Fund I has raised $3M in commitments so far for investments in Southern California companies, and will invest closely alongside the Tech Coast Angels. According to the founders, the fund is designed to fill the niche between venture capital and angel investments, and will only invest in companies which have already received over $350K in investments from TCA members, have more than 10 TCA individual investors, and where a TCA member either holds a board seat or has observation rights.
