    Archos Adds Video Playback

Irvine-based Archos (www.archos.com) has introduced a new pocket audio and video player to the market. The company's new Gmnini400 goes beyond the company's existing line of audio players, and adds a 2.2 inch color LCD screen and video playback, photo viewing, and games. The Gmnini400 has a 20GB disk capacity, and features a CompactFlash reader for transfering photos and data. The unit also has options for FM radio support and adapters for SmartMedia, MMC, SD or Memory Stick and Memory Stick Pro cards. All of this fits in a 4.2 inch by 2.4 inch by .07 inch package. Archos is known for its high capacity digital audio players.
